It was so much fun, I just wished it was longer it was so great.
I cant wait to go next year. My friend and I had
a blast just waiting in line, with the DJ, the games, and the fire
dancer people. I didn't expect any of it because that was my first time.
I loved it!!!!

Hello, my name is Kathy Vance and this year was my first year of going
to Spooky Woods! Me and my sister had the best time of our lives! My
heart was pounding the entire time we were there! I never knew what to
expect. My favorite part, the bird on your page just scared the crap out
of me!!HAHA anyway my best part was the clowns with the chainsaws, you
can never have too many chainsaws!!The playground was very cool too!!Me
and my family always went to Scareowinds,not anymore,Im bringing my

Dear Tony, Donna and Kevin,
Thank you for making our trip to see Spooky
Woods so eventful and fun. We never imagined that we would have been
treated so nicely and given so much time to answer our questions. Our
trip was short but well worth every minute spent. It could not have been
a more enjoyable business trip for us. Spooky Woods is the greatest, and
you deserve the honor of being one of the top in the Nation. Our hope is
to attend the convention being held in Las Vegas this next year. After
leaving there Thursday night we continued to have multiple questions
especially with some of your suppliers but I will try and gather our

Hey guys, i recently went to Spookywoods for the first time, and it was
AWESOME!! My boyfriend and i went and had a great time, but were
disappointed that you couldn't have the corn maize. And like others we
wished that the tram ride was longer. When we were finished, and had
made our way back to the dee jay both, the dee jay just started to play
a slow song and my boyfriend and i began to slow dance there in front of
all the ghost and goblins. It was great. After the song stopped a
"PRISONER" came up to us and said that was the first time he had seen
anyone dance at Spookywoods.
I can't wait until next year!

HAHA me and my friends always come to Spookywoods every year... We
always try to come at least twice.
This year we loved how you had people in the
lines like Jeepers and The Vampire. It was very entertaining. But they
never really talked. We loved the tram ride which was good as always.
And the castle was so amazing and scary it made my friend wet her
pants. The last night we went you guys did put another guy in a pimp
costume out in the line and unlike the others he talked. In fact it was
very funny and he also went thru with us to give us a bit more security
this time which was very appreciated. We hope to see him again and see
what great detail and fun you guys put into this place next year.... It
can only get better, and thanks again Pimp Daddy Short Legs:)

As a first time attendee and a zombie in the bone yard, I must say that
this has to bee the most intricate and well designed attraction I have
seen yet. My fraternity brothers and I have adapted this as a new
tradition in our activities! I am amazed at the detail but more
importantly, the customers are treated with the utmost importance.

ok ok, in line I was thinking if the characters messing with you in line
are anything like what's inside, this is going to be a snooze fest. i
was DEAD wrong. I was not scared at all in line, thinking this was going
to be a bit hokey and that I was above letting these silly kids in
monster outfits scare me. again. I was wrong.
I am a 32 year old guy. I screamed like a 6 year
old school girl. It was something between a scream and a laugh because i
was having such a good time. It was awesome!!!
Only down side, a couple of the characters
messing with folks in line touched my wife and made her very
uncomfortable. she had read that they were not allowed to touch her and
that was comforting to her. Please make sure that the cast obeys the
rules. It is plenty scary enough without being touched. Overall,
fantastic experience. Will be back again next year for sure!!!!

I had an awesome time. I'm 15, and I went last year and it was even
better. The scenery is really amazing and the actors are very committed
and great. As a big Saw fan, I loved the saw part, and it was just a

Yay Spookywoods! This is my 2nd year going and it was so much better! I
loved all the new stuff - the scariest part was the tunnel with the
inflatable walls - it was like being born again! Also, I dropped my keys
somewhere in Spookywoods and at the end, you guys actually found them
and they were waiting for me at the ticket booth! That was amazing- I

OMG !!!! That was amazing. This our second year coming to the Spookwoods!!!
Yall did a great job....so much better than last year!!! The effects
where great and very believable, I had no Idea what would pop out next.

Great going!
The scenes were incredible. I was really impressed on how the music in
each scene would change. The "blowing air" in your face from the
elevator and a few other scenes were great. I loved the water splash
from the old voodoo witch. The actors were amazing too.
The music/pyro/air/water effects and confident
actors really helped create the atmosphere.
Just a small suggestion: The actors in the
houses themselves might be a little more conscious on timing. A few
times we caught up with the group in front of us so we were coming in to
the end of a scene and didn't get the full "effect."
Some actors were very conscious of the timing
and held us back, to wait for the next setup, but it would have been a
tad bit better if everyone was conscious of that. (I realize it's hard
to do when you have a crowd wanting to go forward as much as possible)
But from the door it was all great.
The Freddie was my favorite. The music was RIGHT
ON and the actor was great!

I visited Spooky Woods for the first time last night on Halloween We
drove 1hour and 30 min to get there and I have to say it was well worth
it. It was by far the best haunted attraction we seen this year out of
the 4 we went to. The funny thing is that another big attraction told us
to go visit Spooky Woods telling us it was better then their own and
they couldn't of been more right. Thank you guys for the great haunt and
we look forward to visiting again next year!

This was the first time I have ever gone to spookywoods but it was
incredible. Not only was it scary and totally well put together but the
people working there were extremely nice. I dont recommend it for kids
at all but I will be back every year, multiple times a year I am sure.

This was by far, way better then last year and the best one I have yet
to attend. It was bone chilling from the moment you walked in until the
very end. It was worth every dollar! The only thing I recommend is
more people popping out in the corn maze. Not one time did anything
come out or scare us. But other than that, it was GREAT...keep up the
good work. See you next year with tons more people.

I have one problem,at the begging at the place where the guy was
chopping his foot off,then the dude with the mask hit my foot with a
chainsaw,He hit my foot. But besides that,Dude it was so freakin

I went for the first time last night. One of the best haunted houses
I've been too in a long time. I loved the SAW and Nightmare of Elm
Street rooms. The castle was great. I loved the detail you put into

Great job on the monster make-up and effects. The bad guys looked
exactly like they do in the movies. Watching Jason, Michael Meyers and
the Creeper stake out the port-johns was hilarious. The guys on the tram
line did an outstanding job.

WOW!!WOW!!WOWWW!!!!!!It was strictly AMAZING!!!I went to spookywoods
expecting alot cause i heard alot and wat did i get??More than
that!!Really i was just sooo good!!The people and props were just the
best thing that i have ever seen!!They all went in sync with each
other.Ive been to other haunts around NC but this is byfar the
BEST!!Other places will go off topic with odd characters that dont make
no sense but this isnt one of them!!The Saw house was awesome!Thought i
was in the movie!!The castle there was FREAKISHLY SCARY!!SOo to wrap
this up my 2 1/2 drive there was way way worth it and will most
definetly do it again next year!~!Thanks spookywoods for giving me and
my family a wonderful time for halloween!!

i came with my husband and best friend. usually when i go to a haunted
house of any kind i joke and laugh with all the ghouls...some of ur guys
actually made me scream and had my adrenaline pumping. I did wish that
it had been just a little longer though...but all in all thanks for a

wow by far the best haunted attraction ive ever been to and the longest
which is a good thing cause most times its like a 20 min scare and then
your like ok what do i do for the rest of the night.. man i love it so

Excellent set up...very realistic. Very detailed.
Didn't appreciate the fact however, that when I was on the tram ride I
was sitting in the front row, and a monster hopped down from the roof
and sat in my lap. It SAT IN MY LAP. Last time I checked monsters didn't
attempt to scare you, then plop down in your lap. So, I would remind
your team of the "no touching, no free lap rides" policy.
Other than that, it rocked. Loved the set up,
loved the characters. Was my first real haunted house, and Im certain

To the entire Spookywoods staff:
Thank you all so much for showing my fraternity
and me a wonderful time this weekend. Allowing us to actually work
Spookywoods this past weekend was one of the best experiences of my
life! When everyone went through the attraction on Friday, they were all
blown away! They couldn't believe how wonderful it truly was! Of course,
after they came out, they were really pumped to begin working in the
various spots. The professionalism behind the scenes was astounding!
Everyone was very helpful to my brothers and me as far as where to go to
scare people and organizing our clothes and preparing our make-up.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Saturday night was the best night ever!
Everyone said that it was a really busy night, but I couldn't get enough
of scaring people in the Hellevator! So in the end our sore muscles,
cracking bones, swollen appendages, scratchy voices, and bruised skin;
all of it was worth the amazing opportunity you let us have. Please,
feel free to contact us if you ever need anything. If we are able to
make it down, we'll be there in a heartbeat. Also, we all look forward
to helping out on the 3rd as well! We're trying to round up every single
person we know to go so we can scare them!
Again, the biggest of THANK YOU's to Tony,
Donna, and the entire Spookywoods staff. You all are incredibly special
and talented people and you will all be held in a special place to Chi
Alpha Omega and in my heart!

oh my word!!! this was absolutely the most scary thing I've ever been

buried in friend's dad's back especially when Freddy came out) the tram

I loved it all!!! I loved the tram ride, the wolf type thing that was
chained to the wall but really busted loose and chased you, and I loved
the jeepers creepers man. I also thought the the employees were VERY
nice. We met Kevin,Bob,and Rod they were very helpful. We are already
planning on coming back next year. Only one complaint they didn't sell
kettle corn at night but everything else was great. Thanks again!!!

Got to finally go to Spookywoods on Friday. But, seriously wanted
to let you know how fantastic it was. My wife actually lasted all of
about thirty seconds before she had to leave. (Which was great fun for
the both of us, because we joked about it later). I got the crap scared
out of me several times. Specifically when the chained werewolf/dogman
came after me, while I was walking through the cornfield (before the
castle), and too many times inside the castle. The entire event was
hands down, amazing. Best I’ve ever been too.
Just thought you should know how it went. The others I brought are
extremely thankful and are spreading the word. It was a hell of a way to
spend a Friday night!

Let me start by saying that I am a tough critic. I helped produce and
acted in a haunted attraction in MD for 4 years before moving down to
NC. Having said that, I was totally impressed! The Spookywoods maze
was unbelievable! The detail was incredible and the actors were good!
We bought reservation tickets a couple of nights in advance and that is
by far the way to go. well worth the extra $5 as we only waited about 15
minutes to get in. I am sure that people in the general ticket line
waited over 3 hours as it was out to the street. The dancing zombie was
great entertainment during out short wait. I would have liked to see a
few more scene/scares with the tram ride and corn maze but it looked as
if those two things were more of a way to just help space the crowd out
some before you got to the Spookywoods castle entrance which was a great
idea! Not a complaint though just a thought. We had a wonderful time
and will be back next year to see how you change things up. !
It is going to be hard to top yourselves
though, especially with the main house as it was awesome! Great job
yall and happy haunting the rest of the season!

It was worth waiting 2.5 hours in line. My boyfriend and I loved it! I
can't wait till we come back. It was really good. Someone put allot of
time and thinking into it. We drove for an hour and 15 minutes from

Spookywoods, We have been coming to Spookywoods for the past three years
and even though each year has been great. YOU'LL OUT DID YOURSELVES THIS
YEAR!!!!! I love the Haunted House while my wife loved the bayou and my
nephew is stll talking about the clown....My older son fiancé all she
could say was she was about to wet her pants, I also loved the child
play(I'M a big fan of Freddy) you could really tell the different that
was done, as well as the Time, Money, and The Thought that went into
each Prop that was made ...My hats off to you ,I think you put

We visited your attraction and was pleased with the set up and were even
